What the total includes
- Mix
- Tons × your price per ton at that plant
- Trucking
- Trucks × hours billed × your hourly rate, including the hauler's minimum and time spent waiting
- Old asphalt
- Tons to dump × that plant's dump fee (a negative fee is a credit)
It also shows how many trucks keep the paver working without a gap at each distance, and warns when a haul is long enough for the mix to cool. It does not count crew idle time, fuel or tax.

Frequently asked questions
Does the Haul Planner tell me what a plant will charge?
No. Plant prices come from you: the figures you are quoted or have paid. The planner does the arithmetic, the drive times and the ranking. It is a comparison aid, not a quote, so confirm price, load-out hours and mix availability with the plant before you commit a job.
How are the drive times measured?
By road, from the job-site address to each plant, with typical traffic and for a passenger car. The planner stretches that for a loaded truck by a percentage you set. It never uses straight-line distance.
Is my pricing private?
Yes. Your prices, rates, plant locations and the plants you add are saved to your own account and are not shown on any public page or to any other company.
What are the limits?
Every plan has limits, because each new job-site search is a paid lookup. The standalone subscription allows 10 new job-site searches a week. Pro, Featured and Sponsored listings include the tool as a free extra and allow 15 a week on Pro, 20 on Featured, 30 on Sponsored. Reopening a job you already searched is free and never counts.
I have a Pro, Featured or Sponsored listing. Do I need to subscribe?
No. The Haul Planner is a free extra with those listing plans, with larger limits than the standalone subscription. Sign in and open it from your dashboard.
