Contractor listing plans

Pro listing

Quote requests arrive in your inbox instead of ours, and your listing carries more of what you actually do.

For a company that wants the enquiries its profile is already generating, and room to describe more than three services.

What your listing looks like on Pro

These are the real result cards the directory renders, shown here with an example company. Same business, same services, same city — the only difference between them is the plan.

Riverton, Oregon

Asphalt Paving · Asphalt Maintenance · Striping & Pavement Markings · Commercial

Paid listings may include priority placement, not an endorsement.

A Pro badge, placement above standard listings, and quote requests delivered straight to the company.

What Pro adds over Basic

Every difference between the two plans, and what each one actually means. Nothing here is written by hand — it is read from the same source as the comparison table, so it cannot describe a limit the product no longer has.

  • Phone number

From Shown after a clickup to Tap to call

Your real number, never a tracking number. On a Free listing a visitor clicks 'Show phone number' to reveal it and it prints as text; on a paid listing it is tappable, so a phone call is one gesture from the top of your profile.

  • Your website

From Shown as textup to Clickable link

Free listings print your domain as text, so a property owner can see you have a site and our structured data can name it. Paid listings make it a link they can click.

  • Public email address

    From Not includedup to Included

A mailto button on your profile, on claimed paid listings. Every tier still receives written inquiries — see the contact form below.

  • Social profile links

    From Not includedup to Included

Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and the like, shown on your profile. Every tier is emitted as schema.org sameAs regardless, so search engines and AI assistants can match your listing to your accounts either way.

  • How your website link is marked

From Not linkedup to Marked sponsored

Paid listings link out marked sponsored, because a link that comes with a subscription has to be disclosed as one. Free listings show the domain as text rather than a link at all.

  • Directory categories you can carry

From Up to 3up to Up to 6

Each category places your listing on that category's landing page, plus the city and state pages beneath it.

  • Cities beyond your home city

    From 1up to 3

Factual coverage, not keyword reach — add only the cities you genuinely work in. Your home city is always included and never counts against the cap.

  • Total cities your listing appears in

    From 2up to 4

Home city plus the served cities your plan allows.

  • Of those, how many you are promoted in

    From 0up to 1

Declaring a city puts you on its page. Being promoted in it puts you at the top, in the labelled sponsored strip. The two numbers are different on purpose — see Placement.

  • Dedicated local company pages

    From Not includedup to Included

A real page per served city at /company/your-company/city/, written around that city rather than a copy of your profile with the name swapped.

  • Project photos published

From Up to 5up to Up to 25

Shown as a gallery on your profile and on any local city pages you have.

  • Cities you are promoted in

From Noneup to 1 — your home city

Promoted means two things together: a card in the labelled sponsored strip at the top of that city's page, and first position in its results. Your home city is always one of them and never counts against the total. Everywhere else you serve, you still appear — you just rank on your merits like everyone else.

  • Position in directory results

From Standard placementup to Top of your city

Inside a city you are promoted in, you sort above the standard roster. Outside it, and on state and category pages, rosters sort by tier, then by claimed, reviewed, and alphabetical order.

  • Result card and profile treatment

    From Standardup to Pro treatment

How prominent your card looks in a list of competitors.

  • Paid placement disclosure

From Not applicableup to Always labelled

Every paid position is labelled as paid placement, on the card and next to the strip heading.

  • "Get a Quote" form delivered to you

From Not includedup to After claim approval

The structured quote form, delivered to your listing's contact address as soon as it is submitted. Requires an approved claim, so we know where to send it.

  • Contact form on your profile

From Routed through the directoryup to Direct to your inbox

Every published profile has one. On Free the request comes to the directory and the form tells the visitor that plainly.

  • Direct contact from your profile

From Phone shown after a clickup to Call, email, website, social

Tap-to-call, a mailto button, a clickable website link, and your social accounts — the paths that let a visitor leave our page for yours in one gesture. On Free the same facts are still on the page (the number after a click, the domain as text) but the form is the path a visitor takes.

  • Phone number on city and category pages

    From Not includedup to Included

Paid listings carry their number on the directory pages themselves, so a property owner scanning a city page can call without opening a profile first.

  • 12-month month-by-month history

    From Not includedup to Included

The full trend, so you can see seasonality rather than a single snapshot.

  • Monthly price

    From Freeup to $49/month

Billed monthly, cancel any time before renewal.

  • Annual price

    From Freeup to $490/year

Two months' worth cheaper than paying monthly across a year.

  • Cancel any time

From Nothing to cancelup to Included

Self-service in the Stripe billing portal, linked from your dashboard.

  • If you cancel

From Not applicableup to Reverts to Basic

Your listing stays published. It reverts to Basic limits and standard placement; your content is not deleted.

In your dashboard on Pro

What you can do once you sign in. Every listing gets a dashboard, including free ones — what a plan changes is the limits and what arrives in your inbox.

Project galleryUp to 25 photos
Upload, reorder, and remove project photos. They appear on your profile and on any local city pages you have.
Service areas3 cities beyond your home city
Add the cities you genuinely work in. Your home city is always included and never counts against the cap.
Quote requestsDelivered to you
Enquiries from your profile arrive in your inbox with the requester's name, contact details, and message.
Profile activity12-month month-by-month history
Views, clicks, calls, and quote requests on your listing, with the change against the previous period.
Local city pagesIncluded
A dedicated page per eligible served city, rather than one profile doing all the work.
Project spotlightsNot included
Submit a completed project for review. Published spotlights appear across the relevant directory pages.
BillingSelf-service
Change or cancel the plan yourself through the Stripe portal. Cancelling reverts the listing to Basic; it is never unpublished.
The 'Included right now' panel on a Pro dashboard: logo and up to 25 project photos, quote requests delivered straight to the inbox, and 4 served cities each with its own local page.
Your dashboard states the plan's limits back to you, so nothing is guesswork.
The Service Areas screen of the contractor dashboard on a Pro plan, showing the home city, 4 structured city slots, and the form for adding a city.
Add the cities you actually work in. Your home city is always included and never uses a slot.

Questions about Pro

What happens to enquiries before I upgrade?

Your profile already carries a contact form, and the form says plainly that the message goes to the directory rather than to you. We email you that a request came in, naming the project type and the general area, but not the requester's name, contact details, or message. Upgrading is what routes the whole thing to your inbox as it arrives.

Is Pro worth it if my city page only has a few listings?

Placement is worth less on a short page, and we would rather say so. On a page with two or three listings, the part of Pro that earns its money is lead delivery and the extra categories and cities — not the position. If placement is the only reason you are considering it, look at how many contractors you are actually competing with on the pages you care about first.

Upgrade to Pro

$49 per month, or $490/year. Billed through Stripe, and you can cancel any time from your dashboard before the next renewal. Cancelling reverts the listing to Basic — it is never unpublished.

Paid placement: Paid placement affects visibility within The Pavement Directory but does not represent endorsement, certification, verification of workmanship, or guarantee of contractor quality.
