Pristine Pavement & Construction Services started trading in 1996 and works from Frederick, Maryland, covering that state and Virginia along with the areas around them. Andrew Stanley, who owns the business, is the third generation of his family in paving, and deals with customers directly, from the first enquiry through to the finished job, remaining reachable by phone while work is underway. The company holds state certification and licensing, along with MHIC certification.

Asphalt work covers new driveway installation and resurfacing, parking lot paving, driveway sealing and sealcoating for both drives and lots. Repair work is broken out in detail: pothole repair, crack repair, and correction of asphalt or concrete that has settled or sunk. Sealcoating is presented as protection against weather and oil spills as well as a way to improve appearance.

Drainage is treated as a service in its own right, with re-grading and drain installation offered where water is not leaving a surface properly. Excavation and grading are handled together, with the site surveyed first so that the cut is taken to the right depth, width and position.

Line striping and symbols are applied by machine, and the company also uses commercial-duty thermoplastic for traffic and line marking where a longer-lasting material is wanted.

Masonry forms a second line of work. The company lays Belgium Block paving, builds patios and walkways, and seals them afterwards, for residential and commercial clients alike.
