Striegel Paving is an asphalt paving contractor with more than fifty years in the trade, working across the Louisville, Kentucky area and southern Indiana from a base at Floyds Knobs. Four generations of the family are still working behind the rollers, which is unusual continuity for a company of its size.

Where the business separates itself is in how much of a job it controls. Design, site preparation and grade setting are handled in-house on most projects, rather than being left to another trade before the pavers arrive. The company owns a substantial fleet of heavy plant along with its own dump trucks, so gravel and asphalt arrive on its own schedule instead of a haulier's — a difference it presents as the main reason its jobs hold their dates.

Its published explanation of commercial paving is direct about where surfaces fail: the binder layer, sub-base and grading are identified as the parts that decide how long a lot lasts, and a weak base is described as guaranteeing a recurring fight with potholes and cracking until it is dug out and replaced. Services take in parking lot design and preparation, commercial paving, road paving, driveway paving, asphalt patching, overlays, and striping and stencilling. Overlays are offered where a full parking lot rebuild is not warranted or not affordable.
