McCall Companies is a Portland, Oregon supplier of asphalt products and energy products serving the Pacific Northwest. The McCall family has operated in the region for more than ninety years, and the business today spans four related areas: asphalt products, fuels and renewables, terminal services, and laboratory fuel testing.

On the asphalt side, the company supplies pavement-grade asphalt to road construction contractors, with products meeting Oregon Department of Transportation requirements. It also supplies industrial asphalt materials used in road coatings and in roofing products, which places it upstream of the paving trade as a materials source rather than as a contractor laying pavement.

The fuels business distributes ultra-low sulphur diesel, home heating fuel, biodiesel and renewable fuels across the Portland metropolitan area. Terminal Services runs the company's dock, handling vessel and cargo operations that support both the fuel and asphalt sides of the business, and provides marine fuelling.

McCall Laboratory Services carries out fuel quality testing from the Portland facility using standard EN and ASTM methods, working with fuel distributors, terminal operators, fleet managers and compliance teams. Testing covers diesel and renewable diesel, biodiesel and jet fuel, with parameters ranging from flash point, API gravity and kinematic viscosity through to sulphur content, oxidation stability, microbial contamination and lubricity. Every submission returns a Certificate of Analysis recording the methods used, measured results, specification limits and a pass or fail verdict. Standard turnaround is 72 business hours, with 24-hour and 48-hour rush options subject to lab availability, and samples are retained for 90 days. The company states plainly that the laboratory runs as an in-house operation and does not claim ISO/IEC 17025 or other specific accreditation.
