Sunol operates a modern Astec Double Barrel drum plant with RAP and WMA systems, six 300-ton heated storage silos and blue-smoke/low-NOx emissions controls. AC grindings are accepted with prior approval and a handling fee. The facility also produces its own aggregates, allowing DeSilva Gates to control aggregate supply for asphalt production.
