Tahoe Asphalt has served the Lake Tahoe Basin since 1964. The plant was upgraded in 2017 and is capable of producing upwards of 2,500 tons per day. The company also operates an inert-material recycling program accepting qualifying asphalt, asphalt grindings, concrete and decomposed granite.
